For this project, we were challenged to create three interconnected pieces that visually represented sounds associated with a single object or theme. The options included a dog, glasses, or something related to hockey. I chose glasses because they produce a variety of distinct and recognizable sounds. Each board captures a different auditory experience: the clinking of glasses striking together, the resonant tone created by running a finger around the rim of a glass, and the sharp sound of glass shattering. Together, the three pieces explore how familiar sounds can be translated into visual form.
